I must state, first off, that I am NOT tech savvy. This is the first tablet that I've ever owned, so maybe it doesn't take much to impress me. But I have to say that I AM impressed.
I got off to a shaky start with it because it didn't seem to want to do what I thought it should do. The manual that comes with it isn't really a lot of help beyond telling you how to turn it on, in my opinion. When I couldn't find how to set the day and date, I really started to panic. Then I decided to just play with it and see what I could find. And slowly I started to figure it out.
I've been able to download 3rd party apps from different places, including Amazon. They all seem to work like they are supposed to. Had a little trouble getting my email to download at first (from my telephone company broadband) but when I used my Yahoo address, it worked fine.
It's never going to replace my laptop, but for something to use "on the go" it works just fine.
